Partial Convert

Connect the unique part of your asset to Nemo Rig

Although Nemo try hard to handle more and more features of rigging. There're always some cases out reach of Nemo. Partial Convert provide a chance to letting Nemo only take over "regular" part of your rgging file, and expose a slot to connect with the remain part.

Add shape as extra input

  1. When selecting controllers in Exporter, you can select Shapes of Nurbs or Mesh, and click Append to add them to inputs.

  2. After assembling finished, you should be able to find these shapes in Nemo Rig and find out any changes to them can be passed along to final result.

This is sutiable for path curve or deformers unsupported by Nemo.

Add joint or curve as extra output

  1. When selecting shapes in Exporter, you can select joint or curve, and click Add Shape to add them to outputs.

  2. After assembling finished, you should be able to find these objects in Nemo Rig and find out them following the controller just as in original file.

This is sutiable for exposing internal joints for IK/FK switch tool.

Skip Nodes

Some assets may contain (thirdparty/inhouse) nodes that Nemo can't recognize. If there are only a few, you can use Nemo's Foreigner Nodes feature. Nemo will preserve the selected nodes as-is, accelerate the rest, and automatically combine everything together.

To use this feature, select the nodes you want to preserve during export and click Append in the Foreigner panel to mark them as foreigner nodes. Adjust the history/future levels to quickly select other connected nodes.
